The Carousel on the Promenade is an authentic masterpiece manufactured by Chance Rides, a family-owned company with a 60-year history of providing exceptional rides to theme parks, malls, zoos, and other attractions across the globe. Over the years, they have built over five hundred carousels featuring unrivaled quality and artistry.

Timeless Fun With a Twist

From the beautiful figures dancing around to its sparkling, bright lights, there’s no attraction more mesmerizing in Central Florida than our new attraction at ICON Park. Whether you’re an Orlando, Florida local or on vacation with friends and family, add the Carousel on the Promenade to your must-ride list!

The Legend of the Carousel

All carousels have one figure that stands out from the rest – the lead horse. According to carousel folklore, the lead horse is always the biggest and most decorative. At ICON Park, the lead is a Spillman Fairy Horse named after Herschell Spillman, the craftsman who carved the original Fairy Horse from wood in the late 1890s.

A Classic Carousel Reimagined

Relive your childhood while creating new memories when you ride the Carousel on the Promenade. Located just in front of The Lawn, guests of ICON Park can admire the carousel as they stroll along the brick path of the ICON Park Promenade, which is lined with a variety of shopping kiosks under shining lights.
