We hope you’ve been nice this year because the man with the bag has chosen ICON Park as his holiday headquarters this season. That’s right, Santa Claus has set up shop right here inside The Wheelhouse. Thrill to the wonder of the big guy’s North Pole workshop as you wait your turn to say “Merry Christmas” to the jolly old elf himself. A Christmas Story
Of course, Santa isn’t the only member of the Claus family you’ll have the chance to visit. Every Saturday and Sunday this month, Mrs. Claus will be sharing some of her favorite Christmas stories at Shack Sweets inside The Wheelhouse. And what better way to enjoy seasonal storytime than with a gumdrop-clad goodie in hand? While Santa’s sweetheart spreads her holiday cheer, the pastry princesses at Shack Sweets will be on hand to help children decorate and bring to life their very own gingerbread man. Of course, with only so much icing to go around, reservations for this masterclass in cookie-ology are required.
Merry and Bright Flights
While Orlando might not have much snow or mistletoe, there’s no denying that it knows its way around the tinsel. With all of its incredible lighting displays and towering trees, there’s no better time of year to take flight aboard The Wheel. This season, you can board your own Christmassy capsule for a reindeer’s-eye view of the City Beautiful’s glistening holiday sights. Enjoyed with a tasty treat or belly-warming libation from the Deck Bar, there’s no better way to soar into the season.
A Train Ride Together With You
If you’ve ever wanted to ride the rails aboard the Polar Express, ICON Park is excited to welcome you “all aboard” the Pearl Express Train for a magical ride. While this iron horse won’t be making stops at the North Pole, it will wind you on a jolly journey through the tinsel-trimmed streets of ICON Park. Be sure to say “hello” to friends you know as you chug your way down the lane.
Wet Your Wassail
While Santa Claus, presents, and twinkling lights are all beloved parts of this cherished time of year, we all know the real reason for the season: TREATS. For those of you with visions of sugar plums in your head, we’ve got enough yuletide yummies to keep you on a sugar high until next Christmas. From the Shack Sweet’s festively frosted cupcakes and famed frozen hot chocolate to Shake Shack’s seasonal shakes, there’re holiday goodies to make any Grinch’s heart (and waistline) grow three sizes.
