ICON Park offers special for Veterans Day weekend

Active duty, retired military personnel to receive free ride on The Wheel

ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. 28, 2021) – In honor of Veterans Day weekend, ICON Park is honoring those who’ve sacrificed everything to protect our country’s safety and freedom.

Nov. 11-14, all active duty and retired military personnel will be able to ride ICON Park’s signature attraction, The Wheel, for free to show appreciation for their service. Families of these honored guests will receive a 50 percent discount to ride The Wheel.

The 400-foot observation wheel will be lit up in the pattern of the American flag all weekend, with its 64,000 LED lights glowing in red, white and blue.

“All of us at ICON Park are so grateful for those who have sacrificed so much protect this nation,” said Chris Jaskiewicz, ICON Park president and CEO. “We want to show our appreciation for all of those who have served and are still serving today. We also want to honor the families who have given just as much.”
