50-Car motorcade with lighted menorahs parade to ICON Park

ORLANDO, Fla. (Dec. 1, 2021) – Spinning the dreidel is fun, but why stop there? ICON Park is set to celebrate the end of Chanukah at the Orlando Chabad Grand Car Menorah Parade.

On December 5, the 50-car motorcade with lighted menorah rooftops will parade from the Chabad Center of Jewish Life to ICON Park. The Rabbi from the Chabad Center will then perform a menorah lighting ceremony on the lawn. After the ceremony, guests will be able to enjoy a ride on The Wheel at ICON Park before departing. The event begins at 6 p.m.

“The Grand Car Menorah parade is a fantastic way to share the history and traditions of Chanukah with the Orlando community,” said Rabbi Yosef Konikov, director of the Chabad of South Orlando. This year, with the lights and the Menorah of Chanukah, ICON Park will be an icon of goodness and positivity”.

“At ICON Park, we’re all about celebrating and embracing different backgrounds and cultures,” said Chris Jaskiewicz, president, and CEO of ICON Park. “That’s why we are so honored to celebrate the traditions of Chanukah and the Jewish culture with the Orlando Chabad Grand Car Menorah Parade.”

In honor of the end of Chanukah, The Wheel at ICON Park will be lit up in the colors of blue and white from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the night of the parade.
