ORLANDO, Fla. (Nov. 9, 2023) – The jingle bells are ringing at ICON Park — Santa is officially back in town! From Nov. 10 through Dec. 24, guests can enjoy The Santa Workshop Experience at the entertainment destination.
Once again, ICON Park will be transformed into the magical winter wonderland that has delighted thousands of children over the past few years. This Santa experience is second only to a visit to the North Pole. Families can partake in the annual tradition of taking holiday photos together and the kiddos can meet Old St. Nick.
Each child who participates in The Santa Workshop Experience will receive a free ride on the Carousel on The Promenade. They’ll also be provided a complimentary ride on The Wheel in a holiday-decorated capsule and access to the VIP no-wait line. Guests accompanying the child can get 50 percent off their ticket tickets to The Wheel.
Keep the holiday magic going by connecting your phone to your capsule’s Bluetooth system and playing your family’s favorite Christmas carol playlist.
The Santa Workshop Experience has been providing Central Florida families with breathtaking images and unforgettable memories since 2002. The workshop officially relocated to ICON Park in 2020, which has allowed the experience to grow and continue to flourish. Last year, a refurbished, 100-year-old sleigh was added to the photo opportunities in the workshop.
ICON Park is also getting guests in the holiday spirit by bringing back the 50-foot Christmas tree, sponsored by the I-Drive Business Improvement District. The tree, decorated from top to bottom, will be visible to everyone strolling along the famous International Drive. A lighting ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. on Dec. 1 and will feature live music, entertainment and performances, as well as speeches from local officials to signal the official start of the Christmas season.
