ICON Park Orlando Media Room

The Wheel to close at 3 p.m. on Nov. 9

WHEN: Nov. 9-10

WHERE: The Wheel at ICON Park and Carousel on The Promenade| 8375 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819

WHAT: Due to Tropical Storm Nicole, The Wheel at ICON Park will be closed starting at 3 p.m. today, Nov. 9 and will remain closed through Thursday, Nov. 10. The Carousel on the Promenade will be closed Nov. 9 to 10. As the tallest observation wheel on the East Coast, The Wheel at ICON Park is built to withstand severe weather events. Per company protocol, ICON Park closes The Wheel prior to the forecasted arrival of tropical storm winds reaching Orlando.

The more than 50 shopping, dining and entertainment venues onsite have removed loose objects throughout the 20-acre property and trees have been trimmed. ICON Park’s top priority is the safety of guests, tenants and staff. With that in mind, restaurants and attractions will remain open for business unless the weather becomes too severe. For more information on individual businesses, contact ICON Park tenants directly, as they have their own storm schedule.

For updates on the reopening schedule, visit www.iconparkorlando.com or check @ICONParkOrlando on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
