Guests are now their own DJ
ORLANDO, Fla. (June 17, 2021) – Imagine partying 400-feet in the air with your closest friends in a private capsule, soaking in spectacular views of the City Beautiful and dancing to your favorite songs. Or maybe you want to play the perfect music for your date after a special dinner. Well, it’s time to bring your playlist. ICON Park has upgraded The Wheel’s capsule technology to allow guests to listen to their own music.
Each of The Wheel’s 30 capsules now includes a brand-new Bluetooth feature that allows guests to connect their phones to the capsule sound system featuring Bose speakers. Guests can now enjoy a soft drink or adult beverage while being entertained by the views and their favorite tunes.
“I like to say that being in a capsule on The Wheel is like gliding in your private comfortable air-conditioned skybox, and now that experience will be personalized even more for our guests,” said Chris Jaskiewicz, ICON Park president and CEO. “We listened to guests and learned that this is what was needed in Central Florida – be current with technology and let guests play their own music.”
The trendy upgrades include new media players, upgraded audio controls, and an option to listen to a fascinating sightseeing tour of Central Florida that is timed with the rotation of The Wheel. The audio tour option describes to guests the new and old sights of Orlando that are viewed from the capsule and the fascinating history of Orlando, including its development as the world’s vacation capital.
ICON Park is at the center of the new Orlando Entertainment District. With free parking and conveniently located near I-4, Universal Boulevard and the Beachline, this premiere entertainment complex is easy to access for any Central Florida resident or Orlando tourist.
