February is a month during which we all celebrate the people we love most. For many, that means our spouses and significant others. For others, that might mean our best gal pals or bromances. No matter what kind of love you’re celebrating this month, we’ve got the perfect pairing for all your lovey-dovey revelry… wine! Whether you like ‘em red and heavy or white and sweet, your favorite bottle is bound to be on hand at the Third Annual Orlando Wine Festival at ICON Park.
Orlando’s Hometown Playground is proud to host this exciting local tradition! From 12pm to 8pm on Saturday February 15, ICON Park’s lawn will be filled with some of the world’s best wineries, sampling some of their most celebrated vintages. Participating winemakers run the gamut of world-famous labels like Chateau Ste. Michelle to artisan, family wineries like Kate Arnold. From California’s Napa Valley to France’s fertile Languedoc, bottles from the best wine growing regions in the world will be on hand for you to sample and savor.
If you like to do your drinking on the sweeter side, then be sure to float on down to Sangria Island or check out the all new Rosé Garden. A glass of wine not your cup of tea? No worries! This year’s festival will also feature a beer garden with some incredible brews on tap.
Of course, the fun of the Orlando Wine Festival doesn’t stop at the bottom of the glass. Every admission to the festival includes a complimentary ride on our star attraction, The Wheel! On top of that, amazing artist will deck out ICON Park with some mind-blowing immersive exhibitions. If all that wine has you feeling bold, you and your friends can cut a rug to some fist-bumping beats courtesy of some great local bands.
I know what you’re thinking. Wine, art, and music… could it get any better? Well, this year, the Orlando Wine Festival is partnering with the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando. Several animals will be up for adoption at ICON Park during the festival, so don’t be surprised if you walk home with a new furry friend!
Wine, puppies, world class entertainment… did we mention wine? There’s absolutely no excuse for you not to join us for the Orlando Wine Festival at ICON Park this Saturday. So, grab your special someone, whoever that is, and get ready to sip your way around Orlando’s Hometown Playground. Cheers!
