One of our favorite parts of being Orlando’s Hometown Playground is that, occasionally, we get to open our doors to some of the Central Florida community’s most passionate organizations. This week, ICON Park will do just that as we welcome the National Alliance on Mental Illness Greater Orlando for their 2020 NAMIWalks Recruitment Rally.
On Wednesday, January 16, between 6:30pm and 8:00pm, dedicated members of NAMI’s Greater Orlando chapter will take over the Sky Lounge inside ICON Park’s Wheelhouse to recruit walkers for their organization’s annual NAMIWalks event. Since 2020 marks the walk’s 15th anniversary, you won’t want to miss all of the surprises in store for this year’s rally!
As you might know, NAMIWalks is a nationwide movement to raise awareness for mental health and provide those suffering from mental illness with a support network. You might NOT know that NAMIGO’s annual rally isn’t your average recruitment drive. With on-the-house food and drinks, exciting games, and some truly unbelievable prizes, this rally has all the makings of a top-notch party (and believe us, we know a good party)!
